Our Mission

SupaChef’s mission is to help everyone discover the joy of cooking and create delicious meals they love. We believe cooking should be inspiring, educational, and accessible to all. To maintain a positive and safe environment for our cooking community, we have established these community guidelines that outline what we do and don’t allow on SupaChef. These guidelines serve as our acceptable use policy. If you find content that violates these guidelines, please report it to us at [email protected]. We appreciate your feedback and work diligently to review reports and take appropriate action promptly. Our policies apply to all users and all content on SupaChef, including recipes, images, videos, comments, and any other materials shared through our platform.

Content Safety

SupaChef is designed to be a safe, welcoming space for cooking enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds. We do not allow content or behavior that is antagonistic, explicit, false, harmful, hateful, or violent. We may remove, limit, or block the distribution of such content and may suspend or terminate accounts that create or spread it. Recipe and Food Content Standards

Accurate and Safe Recipe Information

• Recipe Accuracy: Share recipes with accurate ingredients, measurements, and cooking instructions
• Food Safety: Do not share recipes or cooking methods that could pose health risks, such as unsafe food handling practices, dangerous cooking temperatures, or potentially harmful ingredient combinations
• Allergen Awareness: When sharing recipes, consider noting common allergens (nuts, dairy, gluten, etc.) when relevant
• Dietary Restrictions: Respect dietary restrictions and avoid misrepresenting recipes (e.g., labeling non-vegan recipes as vegan)

Prohibited Food-Related Content

We remove or limit content that includes:

• Recipes or instructions for creating harmful or dangerous substances
• Content promoting unsafe food preparation methods that could cause illness or injury
• Instructions for preparing illegal substances or using food to conceal illegal activities
• Content that promotes extreme or dangerous eating behaviors
• Misleading health claims about foods or cooking methods

Adult Content and Inappropriate Material

SupaChef is a family-friendly platform focused on cooking and food. We do not allow:

• Sexually explicit content or imagery
• Nudity, except in educational cooking contexts (such as anatomical diagrams for meat preparation)
• Content with sexual themes or suggestive material
• Inappropriate use of food items in sexual contexts
• Content that sexualizes cooking activities or kitchen environments

Harmful and Dangerous Activities

Cooking Safety

We prohibit content that promotes:

• Dangerous cooking challenges that risk burns, cuts, or other injuries
• Unsafe use of kitchen equipment or cooking methods
• Pranks involving food that could cause harm, allergic reactions, or distress
• Cooking activities that pose fire hazards or other safety risks

Substance-Related Content

We do not allow:

• Recipes or instructions for creating alcoholic beverages (for users under legal drinking age)
• Content promoting excessive alcohol consumption in cooking
• Instructions for using cooking equipment to create or consume illegal substances
• Content that promotes drug use or substance abuse

Hateful Activities and Discrimination

SupaChef celebrates culinary diversity and cultural food traditions. We do not tolerate:

• Hateful comments about cultural cuisines, cooking traditions, or food practices
• Discrimination based on dietary choices, cultural background, or cooking skill level
• Mocking or attacking individuals based on their food preferences, cooking abilities, or cultural food practices
• Stereotypes or negative generalizations about cuisines from specific cultures or regions
• Content that promotes food-related discrimination or exclusion

Harassment and Bullying

Our cooking community should be supportive and encouraging. We prohibit:

• Bullying or harassment of other users about their cooking skills, recipe choices, or food preferences
• Body shaming related to food choices or eating habits
• Mocking users for cooking mistakes or failed recipes
• Personal attacks or insults directed at other community members
• Unwelcome comments about users’ appearance in cooking videos or photos

Child Safety

SupaChef is committed to protecting minors in our community:

• Users must be at least 13 years old to use SupaChef
• Users between 13-18 require parental consent
• We prohibit any content that sexualizes or exploits minors
• We do not allow inappropriate contact or communication with minors
• Cooking content involving children must be appropriate and safe
• We prohibit sharing personal information about minors

Privacy and Personal Information

Protect your privacy and respect others’:

• Do not share personal contact information (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses)
• Do not post photos of private individuals without their consent
• Respect others’ privacy when sharing cooking experiences or group activities
• Do not share financial information or account details
• Be cautious about sharing location information in your cooking content

Intellectual Property and Recipe Attribution

• Give proper credit when sharing recipes from other sources
• Do not claim others’ recipes as your own original creations
• Respect copyright when sharing content from cookbooks, websites, or other sources
• When adapting existing recipes, acknowledge the original source

Original Content

• Share your own original recipes and cooking experiences
• Do not copy or redistribute others’ cooking videos or images without permission
• Respect trademarks and brand names when mentioning products or equipment

Spam and Inauthentic Behavior

To maintain a high-quality cooking community:

• Do not create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Avoid repetitive or irrelevant content that doesn’t add value
• Do not use SupaChef primarily for commercial promotion without proper disclosure
• Keep comments relevant and constructive
• Do not manipulate engagement through artificial means
• Avoid excessive self-promotion that detracts from community value

Commercial Content and Promotion

Acceptable Commercial Activity

• Clearly disclose any sponsored content, partnerships, or commercial relationships
• Ensure promotional content provides genuine value to the cooking community
• Focus on educational or inspirational cooking content rather than pure advertising

Prohibited Commercial Activity

• Do not use SupaChef to sell unrelated products or services
• Avoid misleading claims about cooking products or equipment
• Do not engage in pyramid schemes or get-rich-quick schemes related to food businesses
• Respect our platform’s primary purpose as a cooking education and inspiration tool

Platform Security and Technical Guidelines

To protect SupaChef and our community:

• Do not attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise our platform
• Use SupaChef only through official apps and approved methods
• Do not create automated tools or bots without explicit permission
• Report security vulnerabilities through proper channels
• Keep your account secure with strong passwords and appropriate privacy settings
• Do not share your account credentials with others

Misinformation and Health Claims

• Do not make unsupported medical or health claims about foods or cooking methods
• Avoid spreading misinformation about nutrition, food safety, or dietary practices
• Be responsible when sharing information about food allergies or dietary restrictions
• Do not promote dangerous or unproven health practices related to food

• Share factual, well-sourced information about cooking techniques and food science
• Correct mistakes promptly when they are identified
• Be transparent about your level of expertise and experience

Reporting and Enforcement

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines:

Our Response Process

When we receive reports:

• We review all reports promptly and fairly
• We may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend accounts based on the severity of violations
• We provide appeals processes for users who believe their content was incorrectly removed
• We continuously update our guidelines based on community feedback and evolving needs

Consequences for Violations

Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may:

• Remove specific content that violates guidelines
• Issue warnings to users about policy violations
• Temporarily suspend accounts for repeated violations
• Permanently terminate accounts for severe or persistent violations
• Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities when required

• We will provide at least 30 days’ notice for material changes
